It does! When I looked at a close-up of that bit, I could see that it's one of those hearts with thorns wrapped around and flames coming out the top. Which really isn't less weird than a Guy Fawkes mask, now that I think about it. :)
I agree, Julie, and I'll add a little here (though I said I wouldn't add commentary).
I looked into this, and there are sites that claim that someone spoke to Mary the Mother of Jesus about this Rosary, and she endorsed it. Specifically, she promised that anyone who purchased and used this Rosary for prayer for the unborn would be saving babies from being aborted.
The person speaking to Mary (eye roll) asked if it had to be this particular Rosary in order for the babies to be saved. She said, "Yes."
This type of manipulation, in my opinion, turns this Rosary and things like it from ridiculous to heinous.
Also, if a deity was really interested in this, why would he/she/it/they set up hoops to jump through?
I am waaaayyyy behind in my reader so just seeing this.... this is for real??? What the crap ad were you clicking on?! Don't do it again ok. My eyes hurt.
Wow!
ReplyDelete"Wow" is right!
DeleteO.o
ReplyDeleteShould I say it's weird that the little emblem in the middle looks like the V for Vendetta mask, or some kind of creepy face?

"Bizarre" is right, too!
Holy crap. Literally! Very disturbing.
ReplyDeleteMitch, as my mother used to say, "Now I've seen everything!"
DeleteA fetus rosary! Has H.R. Giger heard about this?
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to see his interpretation! Then again, it's pretty sci-fi as is. :)

Hi, Jackie--
DeleteI usually don't click on ads, but, boy, I really went down the rabbit hole with this one.
